Mr. Louie Vernon Jackson, 92, of Ashville, Alabama passed away on Tuesday, November 15, 2022, in Pell City.
He was a lifelong resident of Shoal Creek Valley. He was a lifelong member of Piney Grove Baptist Church. He was retired from Caldwell Foundry in Leeds, Alabama.
Mr. Jackson was preceded in death by his wife of forty-nine years, Doris Jackson.
He is survived by his daughters, Darlene Strickland (Mike) of Ashville, Alabama, Bonnie Vickery (Grady) of Ashville, Alabama, Eunetta Christian (Roger) of Odenville, Alabama, Pamela Wood (Al) of Rainbow City, Alabama, and Angie Turner (Tim) of Rainbow City; son, Lester Jackson of Ashville, Alabama; twelve grandchildren; twenty-one great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
The family will announce arrangements for a memorial service at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations to The Arc of St. Clair County, 282 Chula Vista Drive, Pell City, Alabama 35125.
