Margaret Eulene Horn, 92, formally of Talladega passed away Thursday, November 10, 2022. She was born in Goodwater, Alabama on August 27, 1930. Margaret is survived by her daughter Rosemary (Bob) Boone, son Joel Scott Horn (Debra), and daughter Dee Dee Ward (Hayden.) Four grandchildren; Stephanie Lassiter (Billy), Mystic Starr Horn, Dustin Joel Horn (Gena) and Thomas Hayden Ward Jr. Five great-grandchildren, sister Annie Ruth Elbinger and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Vance H. Horn, her parents Warner and Mamie Sims, sisters Lucille Harris, Imogene Carlton, Ruby Jewel Gadsden, Brothers Warner Russell Sims Junior, Roy Sims and Bobby Sims. Margaret was the true definition of a strong southern woman. Hard work, perseverance and never-ending love helped her throughout her life. The wisdom, values and love she shared made lasting impressions on everyone’s life she touched. Visitation will be Friday, November 18, 2022 from 11:00 am - 12:30 pm at Usrey funeral home. Followed immediately by a graveside service at Pine Hill cemetery at 1:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, the family request contributions be made to Covenant Care Center Hospice, 8383 N Davis Hwy Pensacola FL 32514 or to your favorite local humane shelter.
