Obituary of Sherry Gamble Mize

Mrs. Sherry Gamble Mize, 71, of Pell City, Alabama passed away on Monday, November 7, 2022, in Birmingham. She was a devoted wife, mother, GiGi and friend to many. She loved sunsets and hummingbirds. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Pell City. She is survived by her husband, Bob Mize; daughter, Laurie Mize Henderson (Blaine); son, Todd Mize (Kristy); grandchildren, Garrett Henderson, Myles Henderson, Lila Henderson, Claire Mize, and Lane Mize; sisters, Denise Hudson and Teresa Sullivan (James); and brother, Gerald Gamble (Karen). The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm on Thursday, November 10, 2022, at Usrey Funeral Home – Pell City. The funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, November 11, 2022, at First Baptist Church of Pell City with Dr. John Thweatt officiating. Interment will follow the funeral service at Pleasant Mount Cemetery in Remlap. Serving as pallbearers are Norman Hewitt, Blaine Henderson, James Sullivan, Garrett Henderson, Myles Henderson and Todd Mize.
