Mrs. Janet Ruth Butts, 91, of Riverside, Alabama passed away on October 30, 2022, at her home in Riverside. Mrs. Butts was preceded in death by her husband, J.D. Butts; her parents, Ernest Baxter and Alice Foster Baxter; Sisters Amy Baxter, Ernestine Baxter, Christine Baxter Owens, and Ola Baxter Cook; Brother George Baxter; her two sons, Robert (Bob) Butts and Richard (Rick) Butts; and great grandson, Tyler Butts. She is survived by her daughter, Alice Yolanda Carr & T.C.; son, Raymond Butts & Denise; daughter in-laws, Judy LeRoy Butts and Cheryl Tynes Butts; grandchildren, David Butts, Michelle Butts Crumbley & Jerry, Crystal Carr Bivens & Brad, Christopher Carr & Anna, Jessica Butts Gilbert & Robby and Emily Butts Walker & Kyle; and great-grandchildren, Jason, Josh and Landon Crumbley, Danielle and John David Butts, Ashlee Tate, Hailey, Evan and Colin Carr, McKenzie, Paisley and Savannah Bivens, JD and Rebecca Black, Campbell Gilbert and Lawson Walker. The funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, November 5, 2022, at Usrey Funeral Home – Pell City. Interment will follow at St. Clair Memorial Gardens. Bro Kenneth Maddox and Benny Bowman will be officiating. The family will receive friends Saturday, November 5, 2022 from 10:00 am until service time. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Riverside Baptist Church, or New Beacon Hospice. Condolences may be offered online at www.usreyfuneralhome.com.
