Mr. James Douglas Reneman, 64, of Steele passed away on Wednesday, September 7, 2022.

Mr. Reneman was a member of Bethel Baptist Church in Steele, Alabama.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Cecilia Reneman; sisters, Eula Battles and Wanda Pierce; brothers, Paul Reneman and Wayne Reneman; and parents, Fred and Elise Reneman.

He is survived by his daughter, Cindy Lynn Reneman (Amy); son, Luke James Reneman; grandson, Levi James Reneman; sisters, Sandra Battles, Marie Pierce, and Fredrika Williams; brothers, Doug Reneman and Joseph Reneman; and several nephews, nieces, cousins, and loving friends.

The funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, September 10, 2022, at Bethel Baptist Church in Steele with Pastor Danny Battles and Pastor Zach McClung officiating. Burial will follow the service in the adjoining cemetery.

The family will receive friends 10:00 am until the time of service at the Bethel Baptist Church.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Bethel Baptist Church, 2807 Beason Cove Road, Steele, Alabama 35987.
