Carolyn Hurst Horn, 80 of Talladega passed away September 3, 2022. Funeral services will be held at 2:00pm Thursday September 8, 2022 at Horns Valley Memorial Baptist Church with burial in Horns Valley Memorial Baptist Cemetery. Her family will receive friends from 5-8 at Usrey Funeral Home in Talladega on Wednesday September 7, 2022. Carolyn was a Member of Horns Valley Memorial Baptist Church and retired Talladega County school bus driver. She was preceded in death by her parents Marshall and Annie Pearl Hurst, sisters Marsha McCain and Marie Farler, brother Larry (Gopher) Hurst, son-in-law Brad Rogers. Carolyn is survived by her husband Billy McCoy Horn, daughter Cheryl Horn Rogers and her husband Dr. Tom Sleeth, son Jason Horn, five grandchildren Kyle Rogers and wife Samantha, Katelyn Sisk, Jayden Horn, Dallas Stivers, Hunter Stivers and three great-grandchildren Liam, Kaden and Paisley Rogers, best friend-sister Linda Cunningham Grace and her husband Clavin. Serving as pallbearers will be Dallas Stivers, J.D.Davis, Robert (Ski) Krysiewski, Logan Couch, Bill Couch, Jayden Horn, and Landen Bragg. Honorary Pallbearers will be Southern Care New Beacon Hospice, Staff of Lineville Health and Rehab, Care Medical Clinic in Oxford, Mary Beth. Usrey Funeral Home in Talladega will direct.
