Obituary of Robert B. Swafford

Mr. Robert B. “Buddy” Swafford, 81, of Odenville, Alabama passed away on August 16, 2022 at his home in Odenville.
Mr. Swafford was a devoted family man that loved his wife. Robert and Mae were married for 38 years. Mr. Swafford was also a free mason for 31 years
Mr. Swafford was preceded in death by his parents, Martin Luther Swafford and Gladys Swafford, and his sisters, Ann Abreu, and Mary McDill.
He is survived by his wife, Mae Swafford; daughter, Casey Stricker (Adam)l sons, Timothy Jones, Barry Jones (Margaret), and Larry Jones (Aleece); grandchildren, Jesse Jones (Cheyenne), Savannah Jones, Bradley Jones (Cheryl), Jessica Jones, Parker Dahl (Aneska), Connor Dahl, Gavin, Sarah, Raegan, Isabelle, and Tabitha Stricker; great-grandchildren, Xander, John, Kaulder, and Adilynn Jones, Landon and Kaleigh Isbell, Gunner and Draven Civitello.
Pallbearers will be Larry Jones, Barry Jones, Billy Kilgroe, Chuck Gaston, Joe Dickert and Jamie Nolan. Honorary Pallbearers will be the members of the James D. Truss Masonic Lodge #515.
The funeral service will be held at 12:00 pm on Thursday, August 18, 2022, at Usrey Funeral Home - Pell City. Interment will follow at Ragland Methodist Church Cemetery. Rev. Edwin Talley will be officiating.
The family will receive friends Wednesday, August 18, 2022, from 11:00 am until service time.
