Ms. Georgette Ann Bagwell, 76, of Ragland passed away August 16, 2022.
Mrs. Bagwell was a nurse who worked over fifteen years at Medical Center East, she also worked at St. Clair Regional, UAB, Hillcrest Mental Hospital and Brookwood Medical Center. She was a loving mother and grandmother. She graduated from Ragland High School in 1964.
She was preceded in death by her parents, George Bagwell Sr. and Edress Bagwell, and her brother, George Leon Bagwell Jr.
She is survived by her daughter, Aldona (Lee) Self, son, Rusty (Sarah) Engstrom; brother, Bill Meads, Jr.; sister, Leona (Lowell) Douglas; grandchildren, Russell Engstrom, Lexy Engstrom (Jordan Harkins), Josh, Jacob & Abby Self; great-grandchildren, Bentley Engstrom & Annabell Harkins.
The memorial service for Ms. Bagwell will be Saturday, August 27th at 11:00 a.m. at Usrey Funeral Home - Pell City. The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. Lowell Douglas will be officiating.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Gray’s Chapel Baptist Church, P.O Box 294 Ragland, AL. 35131.
