Obituary of Terry Eugene Ledbetter

Terry Eugene Ledbetter, 68, of Munford passed away on Thursday, July 21, 2022 at Brookwood Baptist Medical Center in Birmingham. A funeral ceremony will be held in his honor at 2:00 P.M. on Saturday, July 23, 2022 at Usrey Funeral Home in Talladega. The family will receive friends from 12:00 P.M. until 2:00 P.M. prior to the service. Interment will follow directly after the service at Munford Cemetery. Brother Mike Foreman will officiate the services. Mr. Ledbetter was employed by the State of Alabama Highway Department for 39 years. He was a diehard Alabama fan. He loved to fish, hunt, and spend time with his family. He also really enjoyed doing lawn work and gardening. He was a big jokester and loved to make people laugh. He was preceded in death by his parents, James “Bud” and Mary Ledbetter, brother-in-law, James Cooper, and niece, Julie Murner. Mr. Ledbetter is survived by his wife, Terri Ledbetter; daughters, Julia Korin (Curtis) Hale, Marissa Braden Ledbetter, and Heather Ledbetter; sons, Joel Wesley “Wes” Ledbetter, Benjamen James (Kristine) Ledbetter, Shawn Ledbetter, and Joshua Berkey; grandchildren, Jackson Ledbetter, Emmett Ledbetter, Charlie Ledbetter, Wyatt Hogeland, Rayne Hogeland, and Kilen Berkey; sister, Diane Cooper, and several nieces and nephews. Active pallbearers will be William J. Stephenson, Thomas Ball, Bobby Langley, Gabe Hurst, Ethan Shrum, and Curtis Hogeland. Online condolences may be offered at www.usreyfuneralhome.com.
