I just read about the recent death of your loved one. The Bible calls death an enemy and that is certainly how it strikes us, as an enemy. Take comfort in knowing that the loving God who created us did not want us to suffer in tears of pain. He will actually swallow up death forever, and the Sovereign Lord will certainly wipe the tears from all faces. And the reproach of his people He will take away from all the earth, for God himself has spoken [it]. Isaiah 25:8. My thoughts and prayers are with you in your time of grief. May your memories as well as these few words, bring you a measure of comfort.

I am sorry for your loss. I knew Willy from when I was younger and was in daycare. I have many fond memories from then of spending time with and hanging out with Willy. I also remember playing against him in tennis last year. He was a great guy and so full of promise and full of life. May God be with you and your family. Dakota Barber

The account of Lazarus teaches us that the resurrection is a reality. Even the religious leaders, who hated Jesus, did not deny that miracle. At John 11:47 they said: What are we to do, because this man (Jesus) performs many signs. Many people saw the resurrected man, and as a result, more of them put faith in Jesus. They saw in Lazarus living proof that Jesus was sent by Jehovah God. It is realistic to accept the resurrection because Jesus taught that someday all those in the grave will hear his voice and come out (John 5:28,29) May All in the family be blessed.

I am so sorry for your loss. The Bible provides comfort during these difficult times. Revelation 21:3,4 states And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away. Very soon now, we will never experience losing our loved ones in death. Hope these words give you a new hope. For more information on the hope for those we have lost in death go to jw.org.

I am very sorry for your loss, I really can only imagine your pain. But your loving Heavenly Father knows what you are feeling. He is going to do something about it. He promises; "...Death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away." (Revelation 21:4) My prayer is that His promise will comfort you.
