Obituary of Scott Patterson

Perry “Scott” Patterson, 53, of Lincoln passed away at his home on Saturday, June 18, 2022. A funeral service will be held in his honor at 2:00 P.M. on Wednesday, June 22, 2022 at Usrey Funeral Home Chapel in Talladega. The family will receive friends from 12:30 P.M. until 2:00 P.M. prior to the service. Interment will follow directly after the service at Pine Hill Memorial Park. Mr. Patterson was a graduate of Talladega High School and spent 21 years working in maintenance at Honda Manufacturing of Alabama. He was especially talented at taking things apart and making them even better than they were to begin with. Mr. Patterson enjoyed racing as #27 at Talladega Short Track and anything to do with the outdoors. He loved his family and friends very much, and he will be deeply missed. He is preceded in death by his brothers Jack Eades and Matt Swinford. Mr. Patterson is survived by his wife, Christy Patterson, mother, Pat Patterson, father, Gerald (Pat) Swinford, daughter, Morgan Dawn Patterson, son, Austin Scott Patterson, step-daughter, Summer Rae Shoemake, grandson, Keegan Luke Copley, and sisters, Apryl Swafford and Jennifer Harrelson. Active Pallbearers will be James Ray Patterson, Terry Patterson, Allen Perley, Rusty Patterson, Ross Martin, and Chad Adams. Online condolences may be offered at www.usreyfuneralhome.com.
