Graveside service for MaeBelle Cooley Norred, 82, of Talladega, will be Thursday October 23, 2014 at 11:00 at Pine Hill Memorial Park. Cliff Goodwin will officiate and Usrey Funeral Home of Talladega will direct. Her family will receive friends Wednesday from 5-7 pm at Usrey Funeral Home.
Mrs. Norred was a native of Clay County and a 1950 graduate of Talladega High School. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Talladega and retired in 1991 from Talladega Water and Sewer Department.
She is preceded in death by her husband, John P. Norred, grandson, Kyle Lucas, along with 13 brothers and sisters.
Her survivors include her children, Melissa Ann Norred, John P. Norred, Jr. (Cheryl), and James C. Norred (Angie), brother, James Roy Cooley, 7 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
