There are people in your life that make a huge impact without even realizing it. Lena and Lee were two of those people. I was at the Donaldson home almost as much as I was at mine. They never made me feel anything but welcome and included. They were there for me when needed. Lena always made special food for me because I was such a picky eater. As an adult, I realized the significance of this and made me more appreciative of them than ever.
I was glad to have the opportunity to tell her that recently and so happy that Donna and Becky were able to spend so much time with her over the last year and to be there for her final hours. I know that was a comfort. Glad she’s reunited with Lee.
My deepest condolences to the family on your loss.
