Name: Mrs. Bernadine Causey Sisson Age: 90 Residence: Riverside, Alabama Date of Death: October 21, 2014 Place of Death: Pell City, Background: Mrs. Sisson was self-employed and owned a beauty salon in Pell City and Riverside for over 40 years, retiring in 1972. She selflessly devoted the remainder of her life to her children, extended family, church family, friends, and strangers. She loved sewing, quilting, canning, and cooking for others. She will always be remembered as a servant of God and of people. Mrs. Sisson was a charter member of Unity Baptist Church, where she was the church treasurer and Sunday School teacher. The legacy she left behind was her love for God and others, and telling everyone she talked to about Jesus and the Plan of Salvation. Survivors: Daughters: Judy (Charles) Smith, Donna (Jim) Newman, Grandchildren: Julianna (Jamie) Ramsey, Rachel (Jeff) Creswell, Scarlet (Tommy) Walker, Jay (Jackie) Warren, Leslie (Fiance-Darrell Garner) Warren, 10 Great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews that she loved. Service: 3:00 pm on Friday October 24, 2014 at Unity Baptist Church, Riverside Clergy: Her grandson and Pastor Jay Warren, will officiate.
