Obituary of Audrey Jaylene Moon

Audrey Jaylene Moon, 16, of Talladega, AL passed away at her home on Saturday, May 14, 2022. A celebration of life will be held in her honor at Mount Olive Baptist Church on Thursday, May 19, 2022 at 2:00 P.M. with Dr. Cal McIntire officiating. The family asks that friends and family wear bright blue shirts and a beautiful smile in honor of Audrey. She was a dearly loved student at Helen Keller School in Talladega. She loved music, dancing, and eating. Audrey also enjoyed swinging in her hammock, activities with her church family, and doing anything with her mom and sister. She was a beautiful young lady who gave the best hugs. Audrey was preceded in death by her great-grandfather, Gene Melton. She is survived by her mother, Melanie Moon; sister, Lola Rose Moon; grandparents, Cal and Patty McIntire, Kim and Lynn Sherrer, and James Moon; great-grandmother, Betty Melton; aunt, Shannon Moon; uncles, Dylan Moon and Antonio Moon, and a large, loving extended family.
