Mrs. Ellie Beatrice Burttram, 97, of Steele, Alabama passed away on May 10, 2022.
Mrs. Burttram was a nurse for 35 years at Blount Memorial in Oneonta and, later, a nurse for 15 years at Healthcare, Inc. in Whitney Junction and then later went to work at the Senior Citizens Center.
She was preceded in death by her husband, J.S. Burttram; parents, Dock W. and Beulah McGlaughn; and sons, Jerry S. Burttram and James H. Burttram.
She is survived by her son, Floyd W. Burttram (Carol); 11 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, 7 great-great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends Sunday, May 15, 2022, from 3:00 pm until 4:00 pm at Reeves Grove Baptist Church in Steele, Alabama. The funeral service will be held at 4:00 pm on Sunday, May 15, 2022 at the church with Pastor Carl Alexander officiating. Burial will follow at Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Springville, Alabama.
