Barbara Faye Waldrop of Talladega passed away at her home on Thursday, April 7, 2022 at the age of 71 years old. A funeral service will be held in her honor at 11:00 A.M. on Monday, April 11, 2022 at Usrey Funeral Home in Talladega with Steve Oliver officiating. The family will receive friends from 10:00 A.M. until 11:00 A.M. prior to the service. Interment will follow directly after the service at Pine Hill Memorial Park. Mrs. Waldrop was a native and lifelong resident of Talladega. She was also a member of Talladega Church of Christ. She is survived by her daughter, Shari Bellew of Rainbow City, AL, sons, Kenneth Edward Laverty, Jr. of Talladega, AL and Roy Charles Laverty of Albertville, AL, grandchildren, Miranda, Lilly, Skye, Charlie Rose, Jake, Chasity, Joshua, Hunter, and Hannah, great-grandchildren, Damon and Brantley, and sister, Melva W. Tortorice. Mrs. Waldrop is preceded in death by her brother, Steve Williams. Active pallbearers will be Terry Bellew, Michael Fisher, Shari Bellew, Wesley Laverty, and Buddy Evans.
