Obituary of Dennis Glenn Walker

Mr. Dennis Glenn Walker, 59, of Vincent passed away peacefully at his residence on March 21, 2022. He was a long-time truck driver and loved it. He was preceded in death by his wife, Glenda Walker; parents, Preston Walker and Dean Simpkins; sister, Wanda Walker; and brother, Ken Walker. He is survived by his niece, Tammy Hollingsworth (Zac); nephews Whitney Walker (Corey) and Michael Rich; a lady very dear to his heart, Becky Smith; brothers, Eddie Walker and Tony Walker; stepchildren, Tina Montgomery (Paul), April Barber (Earl), Vickie Hartzog (Mike), Angie Thomas, Zachery Smith, Laken Smith, Patrick Smith and Catherine Thompson; 17 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great-grandchildren. The funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, March 25, 2022 at Usrey Funeral Home-Pell City. Interment will be at the Walker Family Cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday, March 24, 2022, from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be grandsons, Jeremy Glenn, Jonathan Burtram, and Jacob Scott. Also serving as pallbearers will be Kealton Pruett, Lester Moore, Rowdy Davis, Rip Smith, and Chris Simmons Condolences may be offered online at www.usreyfuneralhome.com.
