Obituary of Danny Ray St. John

Mr. Danny Ray "Coot" St. John, 56, of Ragland, Alabama passed away on March 20, 2022, in Birmingham. Mr. St. John loved hunting and fishing but his grandbabies were his life. He was preceded in death by his father, Johnny Ray St. John; sisters, Gwen Fuller and Dana St. John; father-in-law, Boyd Kitchens; mother-in-law, Nancy Kitchens; and by his nephew, Brody Fuller. He is survived by his wife, Tina St. John; mother, Sadie St. John; son, Riley St. John (Andrea); daughters, Brittany Braunz (Marshall) and Cassidy Storey (David); grandchildren, Annabelle St. John, Rhett St. John, and Isla Moon Braunz; sisters, Jeana St. John Threatt, Cynthia Poe (Kenneth), and April St. John (Curtis Church); mother-in-law, Donna Kitchens; brother-in-law, DeWayne Fuller; nieces, Kendall Poe and Emily Church; nephews, Jared Poe and Coby Fuller; and great-nephews, Elliot Poe, and Coy Poe. The funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, March 23, 2022, at Usrey Funeral Home, Pell City, with Bro. Ives Harris and Kendall Poe officiating. Interment will follow at Hardin’s Chapel Cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday, March 22, 2022, from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Jared Poe, Coby Fuller, Rodney St. John, Steve St. John, Michael Kay, Carson Kay, DeWayne Fuller, and Ricky St. John. Honorary pallbearers will be Jerry Glass and Elijah Lee.
