Lonnie Maurice Solley, of Birmingham, passed away March 16, 2022, at the age of 61. His funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm, Sunday, March 20, 2022, at Usrey Funeral Home in Talladega with David Gaither officiating. Interment will follow at Winterboro Baptist Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 2:00 pm prior to the service.
Mr. Solley was a native of Talladega and lived most of his life in Birmingham. He was a long-time employee for Billy Brown Flooring.
He is preceded in death by his wife Aneita Payne Solley, father Lonnie Jackson Solley, and sister Donna Levene Fischer.
He is survived by his mother Margie Solley, sister Tina Roberts (Tim), stepdaughters Leann Redmon (Charles), Darla Pruitt (Michael), grandsons Drake Song (Kristen), Derek Song, Harlin Redmon, Daniel Farmer, great-grandsons Jaxon Song, Bennie Song, and a host of nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Drake Song, Derek Song, Harlin Redmon, Darrell Mathews, and Billy Brown.
Usrey Funeral Home of Talladega is directing services.
