Obituary of Johnnie Ruth Nixon

Funeral service for Mrs. Johnnie Ruth Nixon, 73, of Munford, will be Saturday, October 11, 2014, at 3:00 pm at Usrey Brown-Service Funeral Home. Brother Carl Armstrong will officiate and burial will be in Pine Hill Memorial Park, Talladega AL. Her family will receive friends Saturday from 1:30 pm until 3:00 pm and Usrey Funeral Home of Talladega will direct. Mrs. Nixon passed away October 9, 2014 in Talladega Health Care Talladega, Alabama She was a native of Tallapoosa County and a resident of Talladega most of her life. She was a member of Stemley Baptist Church and retired from Talladega Super Speedway. She is preceded in death by husband, Charles Melvin Nixon, father, John Will Mann, mother, Lurleen Taunton Mann. Survivors include son, James Michael "Mickey" (Robbyn) Moncus, daughter, Angela D. (Jay) Willingham, step-daughter, Barbara (Bill) Wilson, step-son, Wayne (Belinda) Nixon, step-son, Michael (Julia) Nixon, sister, Marlene McWhorter, sister, Glenda Hope Alexander, brother, Michael Mann Wade, 9 grandchildren, and 11 great-grandchildren, Pallbearers will be Ryan Moncus, Tyler Willingham, Mike Porter, J.S. Willingham, Phil Bradford, and Jim Moncus
