Lila Robinson Turner of Munford, AL wife to late Howard Early Turner Jr. and daughter to George Washington Robinson and Buena Ethel Grogan, departed for Heaven on February 11, 2022, 1:44pm. She was born on March 9, 1934 in Ironaton, AL. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, brothers, C. Dewitt Parnell, J. Curtis Parnell and M. Purvis Parnell, sisters, Betty Robinson Owens, Rebecca Robinson Furstnow, and grandson, Aaron T. Wysoczynski. She is survived by her children, Vicki T. Lott (Ronnie), V. Wren Turner (Charlotte), H. Shane Turner (Sonya), Kandis T. Swinford, grandchildren, Megan V. Lott, Erica T. Wysoczynski (Christopher), Amber E. Lott, Natalie T. Korreckt (Cory), Janna L. Strickland (Michael), Victor W. Turner Jr. (Hillary), Anna H. Ulm, Joseph S. Turner (Katy), Heather T. Harkins (Brandon), Clayton R. Swinford (Ashley), Dalton L. Swinford (Summer), Braxton L. Swinford (Shadow), Ethan C. Swinford, great grandchildren, Alexis Smith, Cameron Strickland, Ava Wysoczynski, Madison Miller, Lila Bee Strickland, Harper Korreckt, Tanner Ulm, Hazel Korreckt, Remington Ulm, Lily Cromer, Adeline Turner, Amelia Turner, Callie Turner, Dash Swinford, Charlee Turner, Bryson Swinford, Asher Swinford and sisters, Mary R. Rogers and Barbara R. Thomas, along with many cherished nieces and nephews. She loved the Lord and sought to share the love of Christ with everyone she met. She was a devoted and honorable wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin, friend and member of her church and entire community. We love you Nuna! Lila B… a woman of prim and prose, proper and elegant as the buds of a rose, a heart full of laughter and passion in her soul, fighting for the weary, the weak and the old. She’d work to the bone for her heavenly home, while never walking one mile alone. She leaned on the Lord and He saw her through, and she would’ve given you her only shoe. With a heart like hers, it’s no wonder that she’ll burst through those Heavenly gates like roaring thunder… Love you Lila B.
