Mildred V. Suggs was born on August 18, 1935 and passed away on February 11, 2022. Mrs. Suggs was born in Quintown, Alabama on the Black Warrior River in Jefferson County.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 37 years, Godfrey G. Haluska from Valparaiso, In.; daughter, Connie Burger; adopted son, Joey Haluska; mother, Edna Bogue Jordan; father, Elmer L. Jordan; brothers, James Jordan and Monroe Jordan; and sisters, Kathleen Monasco and Jane Phillips.
She is survived by her husband of over 23 years, Mickey D. Suggs; daughter, Susan Maddox; sons, George L. Haluska and Richard Haluska; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren and a host of extended family members.
The graveside service will be held on Tuesday, February 15, 2022 at 2:00 pm at St. Clair Memorial Gardens with Pastor Frank Gunter officiating. The family will receive friends Tuesday, February 15, 2022, from 1:00 pm until 1:45 at the funeral home.
