Obituary of Linda S. Funderburg

Mrs. Linda S. Funderburg, 78, of Pell City, Alabama passed away on January 30, 2022. Mrs. Funderburg was retired from G.S.A. in Huntsville where she spent over 20 years as a Computer Specialist, and was also formerly employed with Anniston Army Depot for 20 years. She was a member of Faith Worship Center in Talladega. She was a loving mother and devoted wife. She was preceded in death by her parents, Tommy and Marie Smith. She is survived by her husband, Wayne Funderburg; daughter, Tina Smith; stepdaughters, Kelly Funderburg and Leah Sims (David); stepson, Brian Funderburg (Brandy); sister, Theresa Beard (Danny); brother, Jerry Smith; 11 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; 2 nieces; and 2 nephews. The funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, February 1, 2022 at Usrey Funeral Home, Pell City, with the Rev. Jacky Connell officiating. Interment will follow at St. Clair Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Justin Funderburg, Josh Funderburg, Adaam Smith, Daniel Smith, Josh Smith and Chad Smith. Condolences may be offered online at www.usreyfuneralhome.com.
