Mr. James Snyder "Bo" DeLoach, 89, of Ragland/Ohatchee passed away on Friday, January 21, 2022. MCB-3 DeLoach was a veteran of the United States Navy. He served during the Korean Conflict while stationed in the Philippine Islands from 1950-1954. He retired from the Anniston Army Depot with 32 years of employment. After his retirement, he became an avid builder of cedar swings. Each cedar swing carried an etched Biblical scripture on the headrail. Many of his swings have found homes across the United States. He would help anyone in need and loved his family with all of his heart. For over 56 years, Brother Bo served as pastor to many churches in and around the St. Clair County area. His current home church was Union Grove Methodist Church in Ohatchee/Linclon. He was a faithful servant to the Lord and looked forward to going to his Heavenly home. He was preceded in death by his parents, Samuel Belton and Ethel Snyder DeLoach; wife, Ruby Agnes DeLoach; daughter, Deborah Campbell; grandson, Jason Campbell; five brothers and one sister. He is survived by his son, James Phillip DeLoach (Ruby); daughter, Carolyn Wain (John); son-in-law, Gary Wade Campbell; grandchildren, Crystal DeLoach, Nicholas DeLoach (Nicole), Stephanie Cotton (Wesly), Erika Smith (Wesley), and Jeremy Wain; great-grandchildren, Chelsea Campbell, Hunter DeLoach, Clayton Campbell, Lilli Kate DeLoach, Drew Ashley (Tessa), Chase Cotton (Bailey), Kaeden Cotton (Destiney), Summer Campbell, Emily Macon, Aiden Crowson, Braden Crowson, Altyn Wain, and Kason Wain; great-great-grandchildren, Oaklynn Cotton and Daxton Cotton; beloved companion, Jannie Nunnally, and her daughters, Lynn and Robin. Visitation for Mr. DeLoach will be held on Sunday, January 23, 2022 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Usrey Funeral Home - Pell City. The funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm on Monday, January 24, 2022 at Providence Baptist Church in Ragland with burial in the adjoining cemetery. Pallbearers will be Nicholas DeLoach, Jeremy Wain, Drew Ashley, Chase Cotton, Kaeden Cotton, and Gary Wade "Gooster" Campbell. Condolences may be offered online at www.usreyfuneralhome.com.
