Obituary of Annie Fay McInnish

Ashland- Annie Fay McInnish, 85, passed away after a long battle with Alzheimer’s on Jan 18. 2022 at Ashland Nursing Home. She was born 12-04-1936 in Vincent, Alabama. Fay's parents were Albert and Valza Taylor. She was married to Allen E. McInnish, Sr. for over 50 years. Fay, as she was called in the cosmetology industry, won many Awards and Competitions. Winning the Dallas and New York cosmetology shows were just a few highlights of her career. Her winnings included trips to London England, cruises and more. She also was the head of a School of Cosmetology in Birmingham Alabama. She is survived by six children. Her son Allen McInnish, Jr. and wife Denise, son William McInnish, Sr. and wife Peggy, daughter Cealia Robertson and husband Jan, daughter Donna Nichols and husband Randy, son Michael McInnish and wife Connie, daughter Dawn Johnson-Nichols and husband Lyndell, 13 grandchildren, and 17 great-grandchildren. Celebration of life will be held at Usrey Brown Service Funeral Home, 516 North St. E., Talladega, AL 35160 on Sunday, January 23, 2022, at 2:00 pm. The family will receive friends from 1:00-2:00 pm at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be William McInnish Jr, Allen McInnish III, Brenden McInnish, Seth McInnish, Jan Robertson, and Randy Nichols.
