Barbara was my first cousin. She was beautiful inside and out.
Her smile could light up a room. She was talented and loving and the perfect example of a southern lady.
She loved her family and stood by her dear Hugo during his illness. I was so happy when she and Hugo married. They were the example of a real love story.
She and I texted many days of the week when she was still able to write. Her courage and positive attitude showed up everytime in her messages to me. We shared prayers and love to each other. She will be missed by all of us.
She fought bravely. John and I send out sympathy to Brad, John and Mary and all members of her family.

Barbara was so kind and very loving to me always. I got to see and learn about her love for family, flowers and even …asparagus. To this very moment, I can hear her laugh and her kind and gentle voice talk to me. I told her I will always cherish that. To me when someone says, “She is as beautiful inside as she outside” they must be talking about our sweet Barbara. Heaven is getting a very precious gift today. Thank you family for sharing your mom with me. Love, Steve Johnson
