Obituary of Bill Thompson

Mr. Thompson is preceded in death by two daughters, Kelly Thompson Ponder and Megan Leigh Thompson. He was a member of Lincoln United Methodist Church, served in the U.S. Marine Corps from 1959 until 1963, received his B.S. in Business from The University of Alabama in 1967 and in 1970 received his Law degree from The University of Alabama. He practiced Law in Talladega from 1970 until 2014. Member of the Talladega Masonic Lodge. Survivors include his son, Mark Thompson and wife, Ling, two grandchildren, Alexis B. Ponder and Joseph T. Ponder, three brothers, Charles Ridgeway and wife Dorothy, Bob Thompson and wife, Annette and Harvey Thompson and wife, Joanne, three sisters, Kathy Long and husband, Robert, Irene Arledge and Mary Alford and husband, Roy. Pallbearers will be Robert Long, Paul Baker, Dr. Brett Jeffrey, Wayne Mitchell, Chuck Woodard, and Mike Grubbs. Rev. Brandon Lazarra officiating
