Funeral services for Annie Ruth Mitchell 75 of Munford Al. will be at 11:00 am on Friday January 14, 2022 at Usrey Chapel with John Trickett officiating. Interment will be in Pine Hill Memorial Park. Mrs. Mitchell passed away at her residence on Tuesday January 11, 2022. Mrs. Mitchell is survived by her daughters: Jennifer Mitchell and Jessica M. Parris, Two sons: Jay Mitchell and Jamey (Vicki) Mitchell, three sisters: Jenny Weldon, Bobbie (Ken) Fuller, and Sissy (Don) Sanders. Three grandchildren: Kaitlyn Mitchell (Logan Blackwell), Mason Yates, and Marlee Parris. Mrs. Mitchell was preceded in death by her husband F. E. “Buster” Mitchell, three grandchildren: Wyatt Cole Mitchell, Emma Grace Mitchell, Jeremy Lee Mitchell, and her parents C. P. and Hattie Gurley. Pallbearers will be Keith Mitchell, Sammy Gallman, Blake Haney, Ben Trickett, Teddy Howard Latham, Jayden Latham, Mason Yates And Logan Blackwell. Mrs. Mitchell was a native and lifelong resident of Munford, Al. Retired from Munford High School lunchroom. Past Attendee of Stockdale Baptist Church and was considered to be a mother to many throughout the years. The family wishes to add special thanks to Compassus Hospice and Open Heavenly Elderly Care for their excellent care of Mrs. Mitchell. In lieu of flowers the family wishes donations to be made to Children’s Hospital in the name of Emma Grace Mitchell.
