SHREVEPORT - Mr. James Ludwig Colvin, 95, passed away on Thursday, December 24, 2021, in Shreveport, LA. A visitation will be held at Osborn Funeral Home on Tuesday, January 4, 2022, from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. An additional visitation will also be held at Usrey Funeral Home in Talladega on Friday, January 7, 2022 from 12:30 until 1:30 p.m. A graveside service will immediately follow at Lincoln Cemetery in Lincoln, Alabama at 2:00 p.m.
Mr. Colvin was a native of Lincoln, Alabama and a resident of Shreveport, Louisiana for more than fifty years. Mr. Colvin was preceded in death by his father, Charles Henry Colvin; mother, Alma Schmidt Colvin Coggins; brother, Charles Henry Colvin; and sisters, Dorothy Jordan Colvin and Mary Colvin. The family would like to express their sincere appreciation to the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs.
