Mr. J.W. "Duck" Isbell, 90, of Concord, Alabama passed away on December 24, 2021 in Oneonta.
Mr. Isbell was a U.S. Army Veteran of the Korean War. He was a member of The Healing Place in Trussville. He was a welder at Pullman Standard with over 27 years of service.
He was preceded in death by two sons, Jeffrey Wade Isbell and Mark Keith Isbell.
He is survived by his wife, Evelyn Isbell; daughter, Sherry Merchant (Billy); son, Timothy Isbell (Esteene); three sisters; four brothers; six grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.
The funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, December 31, 2021 at Usrey Funeral Home, Pell City, with Rev. Randy Smith officiating. Interment will follow at St. Clair Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends Friday from 10:00 am - 11:00 am at the funeral home.
