Obituary of Jerrod Matthew Headrick

Munford, AL. – Jerrod Matthew Headrick, 48, passed away December 21, 2021. Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m., Thursday, December 23, at Usrey Funeral Home in Talladega with Jeff Pettus officiating. His family will receive friends and extended family for one hour prior to the service also at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery in Munford. Jerrod was a 1991 graduate of Munford High School and played on the Munford Football team during his time there. Jerrod drove trucks for Ryder and was formerly employed by B. R. Williams Trucking. He was a “shade tree” mechanic and a good carpenter. He will be missed by his family and friends. Survivors include his father, Sidney Headrick (Kim); sister, Natalie R. Headrick; uncle, James Headrick (Judy); aunt, Janice Collins; cousins, Jay Headrick (Andrea), Marty Headrick (Melissa); uncle, Johnny Nowland, and a host of cousins. Preceding him in death were his mother, Brenda Nowland Headrick, and his brother, Jason Headrick. Pallbearers will be Barry Hyde, Larry Hyde, Waylon Hyde, Jay Headrick, Marty Headrick, Tommy Smith, and Jakob Millanoa.
