Mrs. Peggy Ruth Gessler, 90, of Pell City, Alabama passed away on December 9, 2021. She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Gessler, Sr.; parents, Kermit and Modena Pendergrass; sister, Shirley Anesitti (Bob); and brother-in-law, Kenneth Taufer. She is survived by her daughter, Janet Spencer (Noel); sons, Raymond Gessler, Jr. (Susan Schell) and Max Gessler (Donna); sisters, Carol Herman (Chuck) and Alice Taufer; brother, Earl Kermit Pendergrass, Jr. (Nancy Marlin); grandchildren, Janel Spencer Manning (Josh), Joel Spencer (Casie), Raymond David Gessler, III (Melissa), Stephanie Rae Gessler, Stacy Lynn Gessler, Jason Gessler (Ashley), Max Eric Gessler, Jr. (Crystal), Jerrod Alan Gessler (Krista), and Emily Rae Nicole Gessler Cooper (Ryan); great-grandchildren, Corey Self, Alyssa Manning, Ashleigh Jada Manning, Jonah Manning, Miller Spencer, Memphis Spencer, Halle Marie Gessler, Emma Jean Gessler, Meranda Rae Wagner, Cameryn David Gregerson, Lilly Sophia Gregerson, Skyler Noelle Gessler, Brinley Shay Gessler, Evelyn Rose Gessler, Ella Nicole Gessler, and John Gessler. A Memorial Service will be held at 10:30 am on Friday, December 17, 2021 at Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church, 4609 Martin Street South, Cropwell, Alabama 35054. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Comfort Care Hospice, 2048 Martin Street South, Pell City, Alabama 35128. Condolences may be offered online at www.usreyfuneralhome.com.
