Talladega, AL. – Mureece Horn, 70, passed away December 1, 2021. A funeral service will be 2:00 p.m., Saturday, December 4, at Usrey Funeral Home in Talladega with Mike Price and Earl Sanders officiating. The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service also at Usrey. Interment will follow at Bethlehem Cemetery in Clay County.
Ms. Horn was a native of Talladega and attended First Freewill and Taylors Grove Church. She was a talented musician, a hard worker, and the very best at making people laugh with her witty sense of humor.
Survivors include her sister, Denise Ford (Larry); two brothers, Randy Whited (Sue), and Jimmy Whited (Brenda); a host of nieces and nephews; and many friends.
Preceding her in death were her parents, O. T., and Annie Jo Whited, sister, Linda Elise Vincent and her brother Ricky Whited.
Pallbearers will be Lane Whited, Shane Brooks, Stewart Brooks, Stephen Brooks, Johnathon Brooks, Dakota Sams, and Bruce Strickland.
