Mrs. Edna Earle Daffron, 80, of Ragland, Alabama passed away on November 29, 2021. Mrs. Daffron was a member of Ragland Church of Christ. She served as former president of the Auxillary at St. Vincent's St. Clair. She was retired as Town Clerk for the Town of Ragland for over 20 years, was a former member of the Ragland Town Council, and was a Board Member of the Ragland Housing Authority. She was preceded in death by her husband, Hugh Lamar Daffron; parents, Alec and Mildred Blankenship; sister, Norma Wooley; and brother, Lamar Blankenship. She is survived by her daughters, Sherry Davis, Lavenia Burnham (David) and Penny Owens (Keith); grandchildren, Brandon Turner (Anna), Alex Burnham (Chelsey), Patrick Owens, Seth Owens, Ethan Burnham, Brett Davis and Blayne Davis; great-grandchildren, Piper Turner, Millie Bleu Turner and Ollie Owens; nieces, Dede Bradley, Drenda St. John and Jackie Cornelius; nephews, Stan Blankenship and Todd Blankenship; sister-in law, Janice Blankenship; and aunt Tommie Sue Milam. The funeral service will be held at 1:30 pm on Friday, December 3, 2021 at Usrey Funeral Home, Pell City, with Preacher Roger Harmon officiating. Interment will follow at Ragland Methodist Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday from 12:00 pm until 1:30 pm at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Brandon Turner, Alex Burnham, Ethan Burnham, Brett Davis, Stan Blankenship and Todd Blankenship. The family would like to thank Kayla Watson for all of her loving care.
