Shirley Tompkins Ball, 84 of Talladega passed away November 7, 2021, at home with her daughter and niece. Funeral services will be held 11:00am November 10,2021 at Usrey Funeral Home Chapel, with burial in Pine Hill memorial Park. Reverend Mike Drummond will officiate the service. Her family will receive friends from 5-7pm Tuesday at funeral home.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years Daniel Ball, daughter Tina Lynn Ball, grandson David Scott Walker, parents Robert and Minnie Tompkins, Brothers RayV Tompkins, Clyde Tompkins, Gene Tompkins, sisters Lemurl Lowery and MayZ Jenkins
Mrs. Ball was a longtime resident of Talladega and a Baptist by faith. She is Survived by her daughter Angie Ball Walker.
Serving as pallbearers will be Anthony Hester, Terry Milam, Jason Chappell, Keith Haney, Terrell “Tree” Uckner and Russell Gurley. Her family would like to thank New Beacon Hospice for their kindness, empathy, and gentleness for taking care of my mom.
