Funeral service for John Christopher Chris Clayton, 43, of Lincoln, will be Wednesday September 17, 2014 at 2:00 pm at Hope Family Worship Center. Rev. Joe Cosby will officiate and burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery. His family will receive friends Wednesday at the church from 1-2 pm. Usrey Funeral Home of Talladega will direct.
Chris passed away September 15, 2014 at his home.
He is preceded in death by father John R. Clayton.
Chris was a member of Hope Family Worship Center.
His survivors include wife Beth Clayton, daughter, Hope Clayton Taylor (Lance) of Lincoln, sons, Michael Clayton (Areol) of Glenwood, Al, Justin Clayton (Kaylee) and Matthew Clayton (Nicole) both of Lincoln, mother, Sarah Clayton of Pell City, 6 grandchildren, Ashton, Adalynn, Kynleigh, Lane, Christian, and Bentley, brother, Glynn Clayton (Meghan) of Huntsville.
Pallbearers will be Michael Clayton, Matthew Clayton, Justin Clayton, Glynn Clayton, Lance Taylor, and Kevin Matthews.
