Obituary of Nell Parker

Mrs. Nell Parker, 81, of Pell City, Alabama passed away on October 11, 2021. Mrs. Parker was a member of Riverside Baptist Church. She was a 1958 graduate of Hueytown High School. She was a huge Crimson Tide Football fan and was a member of Tide Pride. Mrs. Parker loved being at the beach and was a shopaholic. She was preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Bobby Parker, who she married on March 5, 1962; by her brother, Ray Batemon. She is survived by her sons, Bryant Eugene Parker (Maria) and Tony Lee Parker (Pam); sister, Elsie Shannon; sister-in-law, Beverly Batemon; grandchildren, Trae, Devan and Logan Parker; great-grandchildren, Grayson and Brantley Parker. The funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm on Friday, October 15, 2021 at Usrey Funeral Home, Pell City, with Bro. Ken Maddox and Bro. James Parker officiating. Interment will follow at Coleman Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday from 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm at the funeral home.
