Obituary of Euell Harvell Sr.

Talladega – Euell “Bud” Harvell, Sr., 89, passed away September 30, 2021. His funeral service will be 2:00 p.m., Sunday, October 3, at Usrey Funeral Home with Randy Hagan, Beaver Tinsley and Justin Milliken officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery. There will be a visitation for extended family and friends prior to the service beginning at 12:30 p.m., also at the funeral home. Bud was a lifelong resident of Talladega, a member of Hepzibah Baptist Church and Timothy Sunday School Class. He was retired from Talladega Housing Authority and a Korean War United States Army veteran. He was a fan of Auburn football and loved his family and friends, especially his three great-grandchildren. Survivors include his wife of 57 years, Judy Harvell; son, Donald Harvell (Tammy); grandson, Bradley Harvell (Gabby); great-grandchildren, Harper, Hyland, and Hagan Harvell; a host of nieces and nephews, and a friend like a brother, David Livingston, Preceding him in death were his parent’s, Jack and Evenia Harvell; daughter, Cathy Harvell; brothers, Huel, Charles and Jackie Harvell; sisters, Margret Davis and Mary Radar. Serving as pallbearers will be Bradley Harvell, James Harvell, Wayne Harvell, Mike Harvell, Josh Whitehead Tim Sims, Jeremy Tinsley and Randy Klinner. Honorary pallbearers will be David Livingston, Timothy Sunday School Class of Hepzibah Baptist Church and Citizens Baptist Breakfast Group.
