Obituary of Bradley Clinton Duke

Bradley Clinton “Clint” Duke passed away September 14, 2021, at the age of 31. A graveside service will be held in his honor at 2:00 pm, Thursday, September 16, 2021, at Stockdale Baptist Cemetery with Kevin Jones and Laura Hutchinson officiating. The family will receive friends Thursday from 12:00 to 1:30 pm at Usrey Funeral Home in Talladega. Clint was a lifelong resident of Munford, AL. He grew up and worked on his family’s farm, Stockdale Farms, since he was able to see over a steering wheel. Farming was his life due to his generous nature and his need to ensure everyone was fed. He was expecting his first child, a baby boy in just three weeks and was so happy to welcome him. Clint was a hard-working man who loved his family. He was a wonderful man to all who knew him, a friend to all and gave while expecting nothing but love in return. He loved his wife with everything in him and stepped up to be a father to three daughters and a grandfather to their children. In this he was the best they could have hoped for. Words cannot express how devastating his loss is to his loved ones. Clint will be missed tremendously as so many family members and friends will have to learn to live in a world without him. Clint is survived by his wife, Melissa Duke; child, Clinton David Lewis Duke (expected to be born Oct. 7th); parents, Mike and Tina Duke; siblings, Erin Duke (Elizabeth Duke), Cheslee Duke; grandfather, Columbus Duke Jr.; stepdaughters, Brooke Hodo (Brent), Alexis Frisby (Weston), Lauren White (Joe); numerous grandchildren who thought the world of him; multiple aunts, uncles, and many friends. Preceding him in death were his grandmothers’, Patricia Ann Duke, and Martha Denham Haynes. Pallbearers will be Chris Hudgins, Victor Turner, Jesse Lackey, John Cupp, Thomas Smith, and Brent Green. Honorary pallbearers are David Rogers, Dana Bolton, Michael McCain, and Michael Putt. Usrey Funeral Home of Talladega is directing services.
