Talladega – Katrina Gambrell, 54, passed away September 14, 2021. Her funeral service will be 2:00 p.m., Friday, September 17, at First Baptist Church in Talladega with Robert Klotz and Fred Milam officiating. There will be a visitation for extended family and friends on Thursday evening, the 16th, from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. At Usrey Funeral Home.
Katrina was born in Perdido, AL. and was a member of Valley View Church. She also attended Wewoka and First Baptist Church in Talladega.
She is survived by her husband, Sid Gambrell; her daughter, Emily Gambrell; her sister’s, Reba Wesson, and Joni Maher; her brother’s, Derrick Stewart, Gaylon Stewart, and Garrin Stewart. She is also survived by a host of nieces and nephews.
Preceding her in death were her son Andrew Gambrell, her parent’s, Edward, and Jenny Stewart; a sister, Renee Sanford.
Serving as pallbearers will be Trey Caldwell, Shaun Ray Cotton, Michael Lively, Scott Smith, Jeremy Hardy, and Joey Nabors.
Honorary pallbearers will be her nephews.
