I’m still in shock. Can’t believe this has happened. Ben you will be greatly missed. You were always willing to help me with whatever project I might have started and usually gotten in over my head, lol but you (and Koby) always helped pull me through. You always made me laugh, whether it was some silly name you had renamed one of my dogs , like Trixie for Dixie or Laylay for Layla telling me that they told you they liked your name better than mine, or the many nights the three of us spent painting the basement and you kept saying Koby had painted that small 3x3 bathroom for the last 7 days straight using 2 gallons of paint. Laughter was one of the beautiful gifts you frequently gave this world. You also loved fiercely, and your heart was loving and always willing to help another out. I will never forget the night you and Koby watched my dogs for me and Dixie got out and got hit . You felt so badly and it showed. While I hated to lose my dog I think seeing the hurt in your eyes was worse. You felt so bad about it . Then you went and built her the nicest, biggest (you could have put a human in it) casket a dog could ever want. Had to dig a hole 3ft wide and 6 ft deep just to use it. But that to me was you Ben. Sometimes a little mischief ( but aren’t we all) but always a heart of gold. A man who loved his family dearly and who believed in God. You will never be forgotten and always missed. Rest In Peace my friend! Until we meet again. With love, Cindy Y Strickland
