Obituary of Marie Starr Moore

Mrs. Marie Starr Moore, 82, of Pell City, Alabama passed away on September 8, 2021 in Birmingham. Marie was an active member of St. Simon Peter Episcopal Church. She served for many years with the Coosa Valley Electric Cooperative. She had a servant's heart and volunteered with many organizations in the community including the Animal Shelter of Pell City and area food banks. Marie envisioned and started the Lincoln Food Pantry, which was her passion. She was surrounded by some amazing friends that she loved dearly, along with her great-nieces and her dog, Holly. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harlie Moore. She is survived by her nieces, Tiffany Ray (Doug) and Jan Starr Hughes; and her nephew, Hank O'Steen.
