Paul Scott Ledbetter, 52 years old of Talladega Alabama, passed away on August 30,2021, in Talladega, Al. Visitation will be held at Usrey Funeral Home in Talladega, September 11,2021 from 1-3pm.
Paul was born in Talladega to Kathy F and Mark Ledbetter on October 22 1968. He attended high school at Talladega High School and graduated in 1987. He went on to earn a degree in Political Science from Jacksonville State University. Paul also served his country in the United States Army. Paul enjoyed listening to music and spending time with family and friends. He was very active in his church, Word Alive, spending the past several years ministering to people about the love of Jesus Christ.
Paul is survived by his son, Riley Ledbetter, his sister Meg(Jim) Gray, his brothers Matt (Kate) Ledbetter, Case Ledbetter, Cody(Whitney) Ledbetter, Marc(Madelyn) Ledbetter, and Jesse Ledbetter, his mother Kathy( Dorsey) Nunn, his step mother Patricia Ledbetter, his aunt Amy(Jesse) Wyatt and a host of cousins, nephews, and nieces. He is preceded in death by his father, Mark "Bud" Ledbetter, his maternal grandparents Travis and Kathryn Fain, and his paternal grandparents Marcus and Peggy Ledbetter.
Memorial donations may be made to The American Heart Association. The family wishes to extend their gratitude to Citizens Baptist Medical Center for providing excellent care to Paul in his time of need.
