William E. "Wirehead" Cooper, 66 of Talladega passed away September 1, 2021. Graveside services will be 2:00 pm, Tuesday, September 7, 2021 at Midway Memory Gardens. Rev. Ronnie Forbus will officiate the service.
Mr. Cooper was retired from Wehadkee Yarn Mills, and owner of Coopers roofing and construction. He was a very giving man to his family and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents Ray and Betty Cooper, sister-in-law Phyllis Cooper, brother-in-law David Green, brother-in-law Mike Morgan and his in-laws Bobby and Nelda Morgan.
He is survived by his son Jamie Cooper (Jana), daughter Lauren Challender (Bubba), grandchildren Drew Cooper (Abby), Logan Cooper (Emily), Caleigh Cooper, Walker Challender, Jacob Challender, Carden Cooper and Lyla Cooper, great-grandchild Hadley Cooper, sister Sandra Davis (Doyle), sister Balinda Green, sister Edna Hamrick (Dean), brother Dixon Cooper, brother Scott Cooper (Ginny) , sister Judy George (Wayne), a host of nieces and nephews and his fur babies Paisley, Lillie Belle, Buddy and Molly. Memorial contributions can be made to your local animal shelter.
Pallbearers will be: Tommy Davis, Terry Davis, Jason Green, Brad Cooper, Shane George, David Ray Green, and Paul Wright. Honorary Pallbearers will be: Drew Cooper, Logan Cooper, Carden Cooper, Walker Challender and Jacob Challender.
