Carol Lea Jackson, of Ashville, Alabama passed away on August 24, 2021, surrounded by her loving family. Carol was a loving wife, mother, daughter, and friend. She always showed love and compassion to all she encountered. She served the Lord in every aspect of her life and as a faithful member and worship leader of Abundant Life Tabernacle in Moody, Alabama. She lived her life as a true example of God's love. Her legacy of love will carry on in the lives of everyone she touched with her caring ways. Carol is preceded in death by her husband, Johnny R. Jackson, and her dad, Jesse M. Fox. She is survived by two mothers that cherish her as their daughter, Nelda J. Fox, and Lawana J. Everett; brothers, Max (Lewana) Hays and Marion (Margie) Fox; one sister, Sandra (Terry) Eden; two children, Jonathan (Angie) Jackson and Katie (Kevin) Hanson; her beloved grandson, Levi Hanson; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and her chosen "River Family". The family will hold a private service to lay Carol to rest. A celebration of life will be held at a later date so that everyone that knew and loved Carol can pay their respects and honor her memory safely.
