Obituary of Jerry Gaither

Talladega – Jerry Gaither, 81, passed away August 31, 2021. His funeral service will be 1:00 p.m., Monday, September 6, at Usrey Funeral Home with Kevin Jones officiating. The family will have a visitation for extended family and friends for one hour prior to the service, also at Usrey. Jerry was a native of Munford, AL. and enjoyed woodworking, carpentry, gardening, fishing, and playing the guitar. Survivors include his son, Timmy Gaither (Kandi); his granddaughter’s, Emma, Jena, and Anna; his sister’s, Florence Hindman, Jenette Harry, Jane Heath, and a host of nieces and nephews. Preceding him in death were his parents, James Norman, and Mary Jane Gaither; his wife, Martha, and his brother’s, Bill Gaither, George Gaither, and Ronald Gaither; a sister-in-law, Joyce Gurley and a brother-in-law, Robert Gurley. Pallbearers will be Larry Ray Bowman, Shane Krafthefer, Sean Johnson, Jeremie Johnson, Brinton Coughran, and Tim Bowman. Jessie Bridges will serve as an honorary pallbearer.
