Obituary of Wayne H. Whitman

Leeds, AL. – Wayne H. Whitman, 72, passed away July 20, 2021. His graveside service will be 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, July 27 at Pine Hill Memorial Park with Chris Haynes officiating. The family will have a visitation at Usrey Funeral Home in Talladega from 9:30 until 10:30 a.m. prior to the service. Wayne was born in Italy and had been a long-time resident of Leeds. He was a motorcycle mechanic that enjoyed racing the bikes he worked on. He had also worked at Jones Manufacturing and HealthSouth. Survivors include his children, Heather Whitman Armbrester (Nick) and Yvonne Herald, and his grandchildren, Gabriel Armbrester and Elijah Armbrester. Preceding him in death were his parents, William Herman, and Mary Virginia Whitman, and a brother, Harold Whitman. Pallbearers will be Chris Haynes, Josh Haynes, Gabriel Armbrester, Nick Armbrester, Rodney Peete and John Morgan.
