Edwin Harold “Jimbo” Knight of Talladega passed away July 19, 2021 at the age of 89. His funeral service will be 2:00 pm Friday, July 23, 2021 at Usrey Funeral Home with Kevin Jones officiating. Burial will follow at Stockdale Baptist Cemetery. Visitation will be for one hour prior to the funeral service.
“Jimbo” was a lifelong resident of Talladega. He worked for Local Union 559, Newberry Foundry, and sold produce later in life.
He is survived by 4 daughters, 12 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, 5 great-great-grandchildren, and his sister, Margie Solley.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Grover and Lula Knight; wife of 63 years, Tressie Knight; daughters Tammy McNeal, Teresa Sturdivant and grandson Joey Hollis.
Usrey Funeral Home of Talladega is directing services.
