Obituary of Jeramy Lance Decker

Jeramy Lance Decker, age 46, passed away July 9, 2021. He is survived by his father, Steve Decker (Lisa); his mother, Millie Decker (Lea); brothers, Jesse Decker (Hollie) and Daniel Decker (Jessie); sisters, Jennifer Myers and Rachel East (Andrew); grandfather, Orville Bradford; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and great-nephews. Jeramy was born in Morris, Illinois on October 25, 1974. His family moved to Pell City, Alabama in 1980. Although Jeramy lived in several states, Alabama was his home. He was a 1992 graduate of Pell City High School. He attended Jefferson State Community College where he earned a degree in Culinary Arts. Jeramy had a kind and compassionate soul. He will be remembered as a man who loved God, his country, his family and his friends. He was a wonderful son, brother, uncle, cousin and friend and he will be missed by all who knew him. Jeramy loved animals and enjoyed gardening, hunting, fishing and playing cards with his family. A Graveside Service will be held at 4:00 pm on Wednesday, July 14, 2021 at St. Clair Memorial Gardens with Pastor Lynn Dimon officiating.
